My 11 month old beagle has destroyed three beds. I bought this one expecting it to last a week. It’s been a month and a half. He’s dragged it down the hallway and chewed on a corner. It still hasn't leaked.

That was the only thing holding me back. I wash it twice a week at 40°C with the regular laundry, and it hasn't left any odor in the drum. The room doesn't smell, the way it did with disposables.

I thought it was really expensive. I did the math: I was spending about $28 a month on disposables for an older dog. It’s been four months now; it’s already paid for itself, and I’m saving money. I wish I’d bought two right from the start so I wouldn't run out while one was drying.

💧 Will it actually keep my floor dry?

That's the whole job. A waterproof backing layer sits under the absorbent core, so liquid goes down into the pad and stops there instead of spreading to your floor.

    • Sealed waterproof base — nothing reaches hardwood, tile or carpet
    • Absorbent core pulls liquid down so the surface stays dry to walk on
    • Overlocked edges, so it doesn't wick out at the sides
🦴 My dog chews everything. Will it survive?

It's built like a quilted blanket, not like tissue paper. There's no plastic film to shred and no filling to pull out — which is exactly why disposables end up all over your floor.

    • Quilted fabric construction, not a paper-and-plastic sheet
    • Reinforced stitched border that holds up to dragging and pawing
    • Nothing inside to tear open, so no mess even if they get hold of a corner
🧺 Isn't washing it going to be disgusting?

It goes straight in the machine. No rinsing in the sink, no soaking, no scrubbing. Shake it off, put it in, run a normal cycle.

    • Machine wash on a normal cycle — hang dry or tumble dry low
    • Skip the fabric softener, it coats the fibres and cuts absorbency
    • Most owners keep a second pad down while the first one is in the wash
🐾 What if my dog won't use it?

If they already go on disposables, put the pad in exactly the same spot. Dogs go back to where they went before, so keeping the location the same does most of the work.

    • Same spot, same routine — change one thing at a time
    • Give it a few days before you decide it isn't working
    • If it still isn't right for your dog, you have 90 days to send it back

    Why Nothing Has Worked

    You've Tried Everything. Here's Why.

    Disposable Pads

One accident and it's through. What reaches the floor stays in the floor.

    Leaks through

    Enzyme Cleaners

They lift what's on the surface. The seams between your boards keep the rest.

    Surface only

    Extra Potty Breaks

The marked spot indoors doesn't disappear because you went out more.

    Delays only

    Treat Training

You're rewarding one spot while the floor still smells like another.

    Mixed signals

    Cheap Washable Pads

Thin backing, no sealed edge. Saves money, still lets the floor get marked.

    Wicks at the edges

    The real problem

It's the floor, not the dog

Every product above treats the accident. None of them stop the smell from reaching the wood — which is the thing telling your dog to go there again tomorrow.

    Meet Juno

The First Pad Your Dog Actually Understands

You've spent weeks asking your dog to learn a new rule. The Juno Pad works the other way round — a pheromone cue built into the pad speaks to the sense they already make every decision with, so there's nothing to teach.

    That's my
    spot!

    Pheromone Cue Built In

Not a spray you top up every week. It's in the pad itself, working from the moment you put it on the floor.

    Nothing Reaches The Floor

A sealed waterproof base and an overlocked border. Your wood never gets marked, so it never competes with the pad.

    Same Spot Tomorrow

Wash it, put it back down, and it's still the place that smells right to them. No re-training, no starting over.

Torn disposable pad and a stain on a hardwood floor

The Damage Isn't On Your Floor. It's Under It.

A disposable pad holds one accident, badly. The rest goes through the plastic, into the seams of your floorboards, and stays there.

You clean the surface. Your dog still smells it. And dogs go back to where it already smells like they went.

A dog sniffing the same spot on the floor

    It's Not Your Fault

Your dog isn't ignoring you. Scent is how they decide where to go, and every leak that reaches the floor marks that exact spot as the right one.

You've been training against a smell you can't even detect.

A calm dog resting beside the pad on a clean floor

    One Spot. Every Time.

Nothing reaches the floor, so nothing gets marked. The pad becomes the only place that smells right — and your dog keeps going back to it instead of the corner by the door.

Put it down tonight. Stop scanning the floor every time you walk into a room.

    Frequently
    Asked Questions

How long before I stop finding puddles?

Most people notice the difference in the first few days — not because the pad trains your dog, but because it stops the floor from being an option. Put it exactly where the accidents already happen, not where you'd prefer them to happen.

Some dogs settle straight away. Others take a week of going near it before they go on it. Give it that week before you decide it isn't working.

I've bought cheap washable pads before and they were awful.

Then you already know the two ways they fail: the backing is too thin and it seeps, or the edge isn't sealed and it wicks out at the sides onto your floor.

Ours is quilted through with a waterproof base layer and an overlocked border, which is why it holds at the edges instead of creeping. And it's 80 × 90 cm — most of the cheap ones are barely half that, which is the other reason people think washables don't work.

Honestly — is washing it going to be revolting?

Less revolting than what you're doing now. Right now you're picking up a soaked disposable by the corner and carrying it through the house. This goes straight from the floor into the machine.

Normal cycle, hang or tumble dry low. Skip the fabric softener — it coats the fibres and cuts absorbency. That's the whole routine.

My dog destroys everything. Will this survive him?

There's nothing in it to destroy. That's the honest answer. Disposables end up shredded across your living room because they're paper and plastic wrapped around loose filling — one bite and it's confetti.

This is quilted fabric with a stitched border. A determined dog can worry at a corner, but there's no filling to pull out and no film to tear, so you don't get the mess.

    Will my house still smell?

Here's the thing most people get wrong: the smell in your house isn't coming from the pad. It's coming from your floor, from every accident that soaked into the seams months ago.

This stops adding to that. Liquid goes down into the core and stays there instead of reaching the wood. Wash it every couple of days and the room stays clean — and stops getting worse.

How many do I actually need?

One works. Two is what stops the 11pm problem — the one where the pad is in the washing machine and your dog needs somewhere to go right now.

Most people end up with two: one down, one clean. Three if you want a pad in more than one room, or if you'd rather do laundry once a week than twice.

My dog is old. Is it too late for this to help?

It isn't about training an old dog. It's about the fact that they can't hold it anymore and they know it, and the accidents aren't their fault.

A pad in the right place means they don't have to hold it, you don't have to be up at 4am, and neither of you has to feel bad in the morning. That's most of what people tell us they wanted.

What if it just doesn't work for us?

Use it properly first. Put it down, let your dog use it, wash it, use it again. We'd rather you tested it than kept it in the packaging.

If after 90 days it hasn't changed anything, email us and we'll refund you. Not "unused only", not "original packaging". Actually used.
